Dinosaur Museum

Charlotte did some excavating. Her favorite part was giving me the sand.


Mia did a little light reading on the Woolly Mammoth.


You'd think a 2 year old would be scared of the giant prehistoric shark with rows of razor-sharp teeth...Nope.



Prehistoric fish. We watched them feed these fish one time. They feed them live goldfish. I think Hannah was traumatized...I know I was.




We had a rip-raaaaaaawwwwwwrrrrrring time.

Harvest Festival

Have you ever been to a giant pumpkin contest? Neither had I until we spent a couple of hours at the Thanksgiving Point Harvest Festival. I highly recommend this annual event - it's free, they have crafts for the kids, a bounce house, entertainment, bronze animal statues, this awsesome water-spraying metal contraption, the Art Institute, and the most gigantic, cool pumpkins you've ever seen. Not to mention the ever-fun Emporium shops and delicious deli and ice cream shop. I should really do an ad campaign for Thanksgiving Point. Seriously, the place rocks.
